2007-OCT > Forest Stewardship Certification Awarded

IMG_1543Fred Harris, Franklin County Forest Service Ranger, awarded Lynch Creek Farm the North Carolina Forest Stewardship Program Certificate “in recognition of outstanding resource management and exemplary improvements to the wildlife, soil and water, timber, recreation and aesthetics of North Carolina’s forests for this and future generations”.

The award reflects the work achieved towards the implementation of a Forest Management Plan for the property that was prepared by Consulting Forester, Charles D. Webb, PhD on February 3, 1999.

At Lynch Creek we continuously strive to implement meaningful conservation and preservation plans for the property – attempting to restore the natural state of the land for future generations.
